Austin has brown-ish green eyes and dark black hair He keeps his hair in one style, just wearing it down. His eyes are average size, and aren't too dark, with a shaded green. He has tanned skin, average skin tone. He about 6'1 and weighs 160lbs, he is well fit and has an athletic body tone, good stature. He has some facial hair and is a good looking guy, dresses as most athletes do, tshirts, shorts, pants, jeans, hoodies ect. No tattoos or piercings, besides his ears, nothing out of the ordinary.
Austin isn't really obsessed with clothes, though he has his moments, he is well aware of how he looks. He wears pretty much everything, aside from emo, skater or punk clothing. Typically it is just stuff to make him look good: Dress shirts, tshirts, jeans, shorts, tank tops, hoodies....ect are all good enough for him. Though he is not obsessed, he does care about his appearance and does try to look good, of course. He dresses as the typical jock, sports and athletic wear

general personality;;
Austin is the jock type. He plays a big role in most sports, ranging from basketball, hockey, football and soccer. He has to stay in shape, it's just the way he lives: running, weight lifting and working out in anyway. He might obsess with the sports, but that's only because he never wants to go home. He hates his father, and usually is the one to break up the constant beating of his little brother. He too use to get abused by his father, but as Austin's got older, it became more verbal with him. Jason would yell and scream and Austin would just yell right back, and that leads to the abuse with Dillon. Jason never hits Austin(now that he's grown up), knowing he would probably hit back. Austin too has a temper problem and Jason can tell by how much Austin yells, shakes and screams. Like Father Like Son.
Around school, his friends know his as "Mr. Perfect", he does everthing right, if not perfect with friends and Austin even has clever ways to persuade teachers. Nothing drastic, just getting out of missing/late work, tardiness, low grades. Though his grades aren't the best, he still finds a way to get it together. Around his friends Austin tries to play off the, "Perfect Scheme", because his life is far from it. The only person that really knows what his family's going through is his brother, and they don't really talk about it much.
With Dillon, Austin is the best big brother he could be. He looks out for Dillon and tries to keep him out off trouble, with teachers, kids, and even from their father. Austin always comes to the rescue when his little brother's in trouble. Most would say that he's "overprotective", but most don't know their situation. Austin and Dillon have never really fought since the abuse started, maybe little arguements, but never fought. They stick together, when in the atmosphere of their father. But Austin and Dillon do break apart from eachother: around school, parties, and when Austin is with his friends. What worries him the most is that, after Senior year Austin plans on moving out and going to college. As of now, he's debating on whether or not he should leave Dillon alone with their father.

general history;;
Austin was the 1st and and eldest boy, of soon to be two boys, born to Jason and Lauren James. When he was born he both his parents were happy. Who wouldn't be? The young boy lived a normal life with his parents, then a year and a half later, his younger brother Dillon was born. Thats when all the trouble started, the fighting and aruguing between the parents. A couple years after that, Austin's life was going to change drastically. Lauren couldn't take anymore, one kid was good, but two seemed to be too much for her, and the marriage wasn't going all that well either, so she just left and abandoned them, and both boys now only had their dad.
Now the Austin and little Dillon were left alone with their father, a man who didn't really know how to handle two little boys and that wasn't really interested in learning. So Jason took the easy way, he would stay the whole day away from his house, and would only come back late at night. Austin's mother hadn't been gone for very long when the abuse started, there is no need to say that it wasn't a very fair fight. When they were younger, he would abuse them both, Austin and Dillon made a promise to eachother that they would never tell anyone. Most of the beatings were towards Dillon, all Austin could do was watch. They didn't really know why their dad was hurting them, and just wished he would stop. He would come home stressed out and take his anger out on his children, at times Austin ran out of the house, sometimes with and without his brother. Austin would come back so late in the night that his dad would be dead asleep, too stressed to remember that he had ran away. As in most cases the abuse went unnoticed by everyone, despite the bruises.
The only person he could really trust growing up was his little brother and to this day Dillon is really close to him, now that their older Austin tries to protect their dad from him. He takes care of Dillon, making sure he stays out of trouble. He's more of a father to Dillon than Jason is, but now that he's older he won't be around much longer. He wants to make sure his little brother is safe from their father, but doesn't know if he can do that if he's off to college. He wants to get as far away as possible, but needs to teach Dillon to stand up for himself before he does so.

Ryan, dressed in his pajamas, pulled himself from his bed and walked down the steps, to the kitchen. He looked over the clock, 9:48 a.m, on a Saturday. He walked over to the cabinet and pulled out a bowl, then to the pantry for some Frosted Flakes. He shook the cereal from the box and into the bowl, then walked over to the fridge.He stopped short of opening the refrigerator door, noticing a note.
In Paris for the weekend, money is on the counter for food and emergencies. Be Good you two
Love Mom XoXo
Ryan tore the note from the refrigerator door and thew it in the trash, then reached in to grab the jug of milk. He sat back down, as Kevin walked into the kitchen. He sighed and walked over to the fridge, "Mom's gone off on her trip" Ryan told him as he stirred his cereal with his sthingy. Kevin scratched his head, and ran his hand through his hair, "Good", he replied back, reaching over the top of the refrigerator to reveal a pack of cigarettes. I wouldn't doubt she's havin' an affair he thought to himself somewhat joking. He looked over to Kevin as he puffed smoke from his mouth, lighting the cigarette. Ryan went back to eating his cereal, as Kevin stood leaned against on of the kitchen counters.
After another lift of his cigarette Kevin looked over to Ryan, "We can throw a wild party". He always wanted to throw parties, always wanted to smoke, always wanted to do something rebellious or stupid. Their parents really didn't care about the fact that Kevin dropped out of school, if they even noticed. Ryan sighed, Why would you throw a wild party at our house, knowing your not gonna' clean up. And who would you invite, Potheads and Runaways?, he thought to himself with a smirk, referring to the fact that he didn't go to school. "Whatever" he responded, grabbing his bowl and exiting the kitchen, "I'm goin' to the living room"
